THE MAN.
Jonathan ist ein deutscher Basketballspieler, der bei den Memphis Grizzlies in der NBA unter Vertrag steht. Der Point Guard wurde im NBA-Draft an erster Stelle ausgewählt. In seiner ersten Saison wurde er zum Rookie of the Year gewählt und ist seitdem mehrfacher NBA All-Star. Die Grizzlies bauen ihre gesamte Offense um ihn herum.

Scouts berichten von Trainingssessions, in denen er Spiele scheinbar im Alleingang kontrollierte, lange bevor er offiziell in der NBA debütierte. In Memphis wird erzählt, dass sich das Offensivsystem der Grizzlies innerhalb weniger Wochen vollständig um ihn herum neu strukturierte.
THE LEGEND.
Heute gilt Jonathan als eine der prägenden Figuren seiner Generation. In Memphis spricht man davon, dass seine Präsenz allein den Rhythmus eines Spiels verändert. Einige Fans behaupten, er habe nicht nur Spiele entschieden, sondern ganze Saisonverläufe beeinflusst. Sein Name wird mittlerweile in einem Atemzug mit den größten Spielern der Basketballgeschichte genannt.
